Seize the unexpected! | Aproveitar o inesperado!
Now, more than ever, Photography is something that occupies an important role in my life and every time i can i go out on the street with my camera. And that's what happened one of these days. An unexpected day off at work led me to fulfil an old desire. I tooke the train to Oporto and went to the streets to photograph the city that means so much to me. No itinerary in mind, only a few places that i would like to go again after so many years past. And it felt so good smell again that unique "scent" of the city! Get to talk with those genuine persons, those who born there and, by nothing of this world, will never leave town. Walk by the mythical market "Bolhão" is like going back in time. It's like being in the countryside in the heart of the city. The frenzy of the streets disappears and we can fill the smell of fresh fruit, vegetables and fish being sold out with that unique way that only those who have heard knows what i mean to say. Oporto has so much to say but i leave that to you discover by yourself. By train, by car, by bus, by plane, you choose (I suggest train for the obvious reasons), just go! Walk through the city streets and feel the heartbeat and the stories she has to tell you! Seize that unexpected moment and go out on the streets and shoot some photos!
Fotografia é já algo que faz parte de mim e sempre que posso saio para fotografar. E foi isso que aconteceu um dia destes. Um inesperado dia de folga levou-me a colocar em prática um desejo já antigo. Apanhar o comboio para o Porto e fotogafar a cidade que mais me marcou até hoje. Sem itinerário programado,apenas com algumas ideias de locais a re-visitar. E como foi bom sentir de novo o "cheiro" da cidade! Conversar com as genuínas pessoas do Porto, as que ali nasceram e que, por nada deste mundo, abandonarão a cidade. Passear pelo mítico mercado "Bolhão" é como recuar no tempo. É como estar no campo em pleno coração da cidade. O frenesim das ruas desaparece e sentimos o cheiro à fruta,aos vegetais e ao peixe frescos serem apreguados numa forma única que só quem já ouviu percebe o que estou a dizer. Mais haveria para dizer do Porto mas isso deixo para serem vocês a descobrir. O meio de transporte deixo à vossa escolha(apesar de sugerir o comboio pelas razões óbvias), mas vão! Caminhem pelas ruas e sintam a cidade pulsar de vida e de histórias! Aproveitem o tal momento inesperado e saiam para fotografar!
